In 2013, Alan Falcon retired from LMU after 34 years of teaching accounting in the College of Business Administration. He previously taught accounting at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. Falcon’s areas of expertise include financial and managerial accounting. He is a certified internal auditor, certified public accountant and a certified management accountant. In addition to teaching, Falcon also worked for Frank W. Harris & Co., CPAs and the Defense Contract Audit Agency.

Falcon received his B.B.A. from Temple University and his master’s degree in accounting from the University of Arizona. He is a member of the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of CPAs, Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi.
